Kington Lions Charity Golf Day

This annual event is held at The Kington Golf

Course, the highest in England, on a superb course that is challenging but not too long. The weather is a major feature of the course, and the views are simply spectacular for 360 degrees.

Venue

The Kington Golf Course is on Bradnor Hill,

just to the north of Kington. Access is via a narrow road adjacent to Kington Building Supplies, just off the Kington to Presteigne road.

Date

This year's date was Friday 20th May 2011,

and start times were at 1.30pm

Format

The normal format is teams of four players,

with the best two scores counting, and there are Longest Drive competitions and nearest the pin competitions on several holes. An on-course free bar may help you loosen up the swing!
After the golf you can relax in the 19th hole, and enjoy food and the prize-giving.

Price

Entry is £100 per team of four players, which

includes golf and evening meal. Additional guests for the evening meal are welcomed, at a price of £10 per person.
